Journalist, Anchorman,Years active 1997–present Marcio Delgado (born Marcio Rodrigo Delgado, on July 1978) is a Brazilian Journalist and TV presenter. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and living in London since 2004, his career started in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, a northeast Brazilian city where he fronted several TV programs for different TV channels, including TV Ponta Negra, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (Brazilian Television System or SBT), TVU and Band.

Early career
1997 - 1999 - Began career at TVU reporting for a university News Programme. Host of "Cabeça Fria", about youth culture & behaviour and presenter of the series "De Olho no Futuro" (Eyes on the Future) focusing on further education.
1999 - 2001 - Channel 95 show, TV Ponta Negra, Brazil. Host of music magazine show 'Channel 95' and regular contributor to the highly popular youth show 'Mais' ('More') at the same network.
2001 - 2002 - band, Brazil. Presenter of the live broadcast 'De Olho Na Folia', covering the biggest cultural event in the region alongside Carnival.
International career
2002 - Piloted for the program “Salada”, a weekly program featuring news and music for a young audience to be aired on extinct TV Potengi (Band Natal/RN). The project was however shelved as the TV network decided to focus on the Brazilian elections coverage and other talk shows featuring content towards politics and aimed at an older audience.
In 2004 Marcio Delgado started to write for Brazilian News,[1] a weekly newspaper in London targeting the Latin American community in UK. He soon would become the editor-in-chief of the publication from October 2004 until April 2006.
In 2008 Marcio Delgado started producing ‘We get used to...’,[2] a short film released earlier in 2010 and selected for the Portobello Film Festival],[3] at the same year.
In 2010 he fronted Em Cartaz, the official coverage of European leg of the Brazilian Film festival of London. The program was aired daily from August 28 to September 12, 2010 on Record TV, a Brazilian Channel available on Sky 801.
Since December 2010 Marcio Delgado is hosting [4]Latin Hits, a weekly TV show on Sky 219, a British entertainment channel. The program features a selection of Latin music videos, news and cultural agenda. It is also broadcasted simultaneously to Portugal, Cyprus, Germany and part of France.
