MapleSEA

MapleStorySEA (or MapleSEA) is a Southeast Asian installation of the 2D, side-scrolling MMORPG, MapleStory, developed by Nexon. The game was first started in 21 April 2005, with only one server (world), Aquila, and is communicated in [[|English language|English]] (UK). Since its launch, MapleSEA has been managed and distributed by Asiasoft Online Pte Ltd. Intially, MapleSEA consists of players from Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. However, in late 2005, for the purpose of enhancing better gaming experience and convenience, a new installation of MapleStory for Thai players, ThaiMS was launched, communicating in Thai. All Thai players were strongly encouraged to move over to the new server, and were eventually denied access to MapleSEA with effect of IP restrictions.

In the month of July 2011, MapleSEA has reached four million gamers in Singapore and Malaysia, following the launch of Big Bang, one of the biggest content update in the history of the game.
