The hospital opened in 1920 and was dedicated as a memorial to all Manchester residents who died during the First World War. In 1970, the hospital was rededicated as a memorial to veterans of all wars. MMH is a 249-bed facility.

If you get sick DO NOT go to this place !!! The nurses are lazy and all they can seem to do is play solitair on the computer and they don't even do that well !!!!
