Mallojula Koteswara Rao Born Karimnagar district, Andhra Pradesh, India Nationality India Other names Kishenji, Prahlad, Murali, Ramji and Sridhar Organization Communist Party of India (Maoist) Spouse Sujata[1] Mallojula Koteswara Rao (c. 1956 - ), commonly known by his nom de guerre Kishenji, is a Politburo member of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the group's military leader.[1][2][3] He has previously used Prahlad, Murali, Ramji, Jayant and Sridhar as aliases.[4] He claimed responsibility for the Silda camp attack in 2010. He is presently active in Lalgarh area of West bengal.
Born in the Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh, Kishenji helped found the People's War Group (PWG) in 1980 and oversaw the group's merger with the Maoist Communist Centre of India to form the CPI(Maoist).[1]
