The capital of the county is Arakvaz. It was separated from Mehran County in 2008. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 31,393, in 5,722 families.[1] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Gachi District. The county has two cities: Arakvaz and Delgosha.
