Majali is a hamlet in the Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka. It is situated in a coastal region called Kanara. It is situated at the Goa-Karnataka border. Konkani and Kannada are spoken here.

Noted Konkani writer Mahabaleshwar Sail hails from this village. His Award winning novel HAWTHAN is based on the potters colony of Majali. [1]
