Dynamics Consultants

Dynamics Consultants is an Enterprise resource planning (ERP)^[1] integration and development organisation based in Netley Abbey, Southampton, United Kingdom. Dynamics Consultants was started in August, 2007 by Tom Jenkins and Jeremy Organ with support from Eastleigh Borough’s Southern Entrepreneur group as a Small business start-up. Southern Entrepreneurs is a joint council service founded with the objective of encouraging local economic development in Hampshire by helping new small businesses to start up, and existing small businesses to grow and prosper. Working in partnership with the public sector and private sector they provide a total package of support. The service forms part of the UK Government’s plan to support the economy on all levels, with David Cameron most recently introducing the Startup Britain^[2] scheme.

Knowledge

Dynamics Consultants is a Microsoft Certified Partner ^[3], specialising in implementation, support and development services for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly 'Navision') ^[4]. As part of the global Microsoft partner network, Dynamics Consultants are integrally involved in knowledge development and theoretical testing for future ERP systems, helping guide the systems to improve productivity and efficiency in the business world. ERP is essential for more environmental processes in business helping with the reduction of carbon footprints and corporate waste by supporting waste management and resource management.

The Knowledge Champions

In 2011, Dynamics Consultants is starting a new knowledge blog called “The Knowledge Champions” which will use Blogging and the growing Social media space to provide information from the full mixture of sources (i.e. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogs and Internet Forums). As the organisation has a team of world class NAV developers and ERP experts with a wide range of knowledge and experience, it was decided they would offer their expertise on all facets of ERP to guide and inform people in need of comprehensive and relevant information.

The People

Tom Jenkins

Director, NAV Consultant Tom is a founding director of Dynamics Consultants. He has worked on ERP / Customer relationship management (CRM) systems since 1995, initially as an end user and later as a developer. He has extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision (CSide), SQL, Visual Basic^[5] and website development. As an experienced Microsoft Certified Professional, Tom oversees a team of expert Consultants and a number of development projects, in addition to providing support and training to customers.

Jeremy Organ

Director, NAV Developer Jeremy is a founding director of Dynamics Consultants and has worked on NAV projects since 2000. He has extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision (CSide) and SQL and has acted as lead developer on a number of large (up to 200 user) NAV installations. The NAV development projects he has worked on have encompassed: sales order processing, purchase order processing, manufacturing, payroll, customer relationship management (CRM), inventory costing, warehouse management and job costing.
