Duroğlu is a town in the central district (Giresun) of Giresun Province, Turkey. At 40°51′N 38°28′E / 40.85°N 38.467°E / 40.85; 38.467 Duroğlu is situated alonfg the Aksu River. It is 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north of Giresun and Black Sea coast. The population of Duroğlu is 2803 ^[1] as of 2010. The town which is thought to be 5 centuries old was probably a caravan stop between Black Sea coast and Central Anatolia in the historical times. .
