Undergraduate Courses
The School offers four-year Master of Engineering programmes in both General Engineering and Computer Science. In these courses, the first two years are common to all students with the opportunity given for specialisation in later years.
Relevant degrees are accredited[2] by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and, through the Joint Board of Moderators, the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Structural Engineers. This means that the degrees offered by the School are recognised as meeting the academic requirements for progression to Chartered Engineer status.
In 2009, the School was third in The Times Good University Guide for General Engineering.[3]
