They salvage items from their life raft and build a fire and shelter, then look for food and water in the series premiere. 2 "Failed Ascent"[1] June 18, 2010 Cody and Dave are stranded on top of a mountain in New Zealand with limited supplies. The pair use Dave's alpine experience to navigate across 8,000-foot (2,400 m) glacial peaks, cross deadly crevasses, and travel through deep rocky canyons. 3 "Out of Air"[1] June 25, 2010 This episode, the pair takes on the scenario of lost cave divers in Belize who, equipped only with dive gear consisting of masks, fins, wetsuits, a buoyancy compensator and flashlights, must find their way out of the cave and through the jungle to rescue. 4 "Desert Breakdown"[1] July 2, 2010 Cody and Dave play the roles of two people whose car has broken down miles from civilization. They are in Peru's Valley of the Volcanoes and deal with volcanic rock, heat exhaustion, altitude sickness, dehydration, and rodents, while Cody battles an illness that brings him to his knees. 5 "Panic in the Jungle"[1] July 9, 2010 Lost in the jungles of Laos, Cody and Dave bushwhack their way to a wide river. In order to safely travel down it, they must build a bamboo raft strong enough to handle the dangerous rapids. 6 "Swamped"[1] July 16, 2010 Cody and Dave are stuck in a 1,000-square-mile (2,600 km2) maze of swamps and bogs in the Louisiana bayou, home to 1.5 million alligators and six species of poisonous snakes - including the water moccasin. 7 "Split Up"[1] July 23, 2010 They start this episode stranded apart from each other in Arizona. Dave is in the Ponderosa Pine forest, 8,000 feet (2,400 m) above sea level, while Cody is in the high desert scrub country - the kind of ecosystem he calls home. 8 "Soaked"[1] July 30, 2010 Cody and Dave are two boat wrecked hunters in the Pacific Northwest who must use keen navigation skills and know how to avoid hypothermia while they signal for rescue. 9 "After the Storm"[1] August 13, 2010 The pair play hurricane survivors in the Dominican Republic. They use trash on the beaches for resources and Dave ignores Cody by hunting for the deadly creatures on their way to the coast. 10 "Bogged Down"[1] August 20, 2010 In the season finale, Cody and Dave are deep inside the world's largest swamp wetland - Brazil's Pantanal. They must wade through piranha-infested waters to find civilization, and when they find a river, Cody's homemade canoe struggles to hold their weight. See also
