Early life
Driss Roukhe was born in a poor neighborhood ("Dyour Jdad B’ni M’Hamed") in Meknes, he lost his father when he was 7. He practiced Theater in high-school and with various youth associations. He later joined the "Institut supérieur d’art dramatique et d’animation culturelle" (ISADAC) where he was trained as an actor. He first appeared at Moroccan director Ahmed Essyad's opera "Le Collier des ruses", in 1993.
