Doug Hoyer

Doug Hoyer is a singer-songwriter residing in Edmonton, Alberta. He has been active since 2003 when he was a cast member of Rock Camp [1], which aired on CBC Television in 2004, alongside Joel Plaskett and various guests.

Recordings

His first EP was entitled Tattoo, performed with Henri Fletcher. His second EP, Songs from Grand Marquee was a mini concept album about a boy who falls asleep in the back of the #8 bus in Edmonton, only to have his dreams and memories fade together in song.

In April 2009, released a new, non-ukulele ep entitled Busy, Busy, Busy, which reached number one on CHMA, Sackville NB's college radio station.[2]

He has since put out a side project album of 30 songs called Bike Month, and on June 30th, 2011[3] released his debut full-length Walks with the Tender and Growing Night for Old Ugly Recording Co.
