Doruklu is a town in Toroslar district of Mersin Province (The capital of Toroslar district is actually in Greater Mersin. ) The village is almost merged with Dalakdere to the north. The distance to Mersin is 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) . The population of Doruklu is 707 ^[1] as of 2010. Most of the village inhabitants are actually Tahtacı (Alevi- Turkmen) origin
