Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Doosan Group, is one of the largest Korean heavy industrial companies. It was established in 1962.

Its business ranges from nuclear power plants, thermal power plants, turbines and generators, to desalination plants, castings, forgings and construction.

Doosan Heavy has completed many major desalination projects including Assir in Saudi Arabia, Jebel Ali ‘E’, Taweelah A2, Umm Al Nar ‘B’, the Fujairah power and desalination plant in the UAE, and the Az-Zour Project of Kuwait.
