Dobele Castle is a castle in the town of Dobele on the west bank of the river, in the historical region of Zemgale, in Latvia. Dobele was built in 1335 by the Livonian order, possibly on top of a more ancient castle. Coordinates: 56°37′20″N 23°16′22″E / 56.622171°N 23.272757°E / 56.622171; 23.272757
