Popularly known as "DD," Dhivyadarshini began her career when she was 14 as an anchor for “Nutrine Mahalacto Ungal Theerpu.” She then got her break in acting through K. Balachander's “Rekkaikatiya Manasu.” Since then, she has established herself as a versatile actress. DD has also continued to host several reality TV shows, and is known especially for the shows she anchors in Vijay TV including Jodi Number One and Boys Vs. Girls. Famous for their energetic, bubbly humor, she and Deepak make the ultimate anchoring duo of Tamil television.
DD is currently one of the contestants in Jodi No 1 Season 4, which is now co-hosted by her sister, Priyadarshini.
