Diploptera Scientific classification Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Arthropoda Class: Insecta Order: Blattodea Family: Blaberidae Subfamily: Blaberinae Genus: Diploptera Diploptera is a genus of cockroach, used particularly in molecular research into allatostatins.[1] The species Diploptera punctata, the Pacific beetle cockroach, is the only known viviparous cockroach (bears live young).[2]
