It is centred in the city of Prizren. It was erected as an Apostolic Administration 2000 after being split from the Skopje-Prizren Diocese.
Bishop Dodë Gjergji currently serves as administrator of the Apostolic Administration. Since the death of Bishop Marko Sopi, Dodë Gjergji has taken on this role.
