Dinavon Bythwood (born May 23, 1967 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and also known by his music industry moniker “X1”,[1] is an American R&B Pop Music record producer, and a former American professional football player who was a free agent acquisition by the Cleveland Browns.[2] Bythwood attended the nationally ranked and heralded Glades Central High School, of Palm Beach County, Florida. The New York Times reported Glades Central High School as having “produced more National Football League players than any other high school in the country.”, which include NFL Pittsburg Steelers, Super Bowl XLIII MVP Wide Receiver Santonio Holmes and former Jacksonville Jaguars and current New England Patriots Running Back, Pro Bowler Fred Taylor.[3] A 6”4, 255 lb Defensive End, Bythwood played at the University of Miami[4] where he received his Bachelors in Business Administration and was also a NCAA Collegiate Football National Champion in 1991 as was determined by the AP Poll.[5] Bythwood currently resides in Miami, Florida and has a son Brandin Mikel, born April 8, 1995.
Music career
As a record producer, Bythwood and his partner Alex Francis make up the American music production duo known as The Ghostwriters.[6] In 2008 they produced Keyshia Cole's hit single "Heaven Sent", from her multi-platinum-selling album Just like You. According to Billboard, "Heaven Sent" peaked at #1 on U.S. Hot R&B/Rap Songs chart for nine consecutive weeks and also reached #28 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, making "Heaven Sent" Cole's most successful single release to date. The duo subsequently received two Grammy nominations in the categories Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Performance.
