Dholia

Dholia(ढोलिया) / Dholiya (धोलिया) is gotra of Jats found in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Dholia (धोलिया) is a varaiant of Dholya. Dholya (धोल्या or Dhauliya (धौलिया) or ) Dhaulya (धौल्या) is a gotra of Jats found in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Dhaulyas were rulers in Kishangarh and Marwar much before the rule of Rathores. This gotra of Jats originated from province named Dhaul (धौल) of Nagavansh. Dhoreliya clan is derived from Dhaulya clan. The towns Dholpur (Rajasthan), Dhule (Maharashtra), Dhauli (Orissa) were founded by Dhaulya clan Jats.
