The Cumbernauld Line is a suburban railway line linking Glasgow and Cumbernauld in Scotland. It is part of the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport network.

On weekdays and Saturdays, alternate trains continue towards Falkirk Grahamston.

The line is not electrified, but is planned to be electrified under the Edinburgh to Glasgow Improvement Programme in 2013, along with the construction of a "Garngad Chord" that would allow Cumbernauld Line services to be diverted to the North Clyde Line.[1] Passenger services are operated by First ScotRail using Class 156, Class 158 and Class 170 diesel trains.
