Değirmendere is a village in Toroslar district, center of which is actually in Greater Mersin, Turkey . Değirmendere at 37°04′N 34°32′E / 37.067°N 34.533°E / 37.067; 34.533 is a situated in a high plateau of Toros Mountains. The distance Mersin is about 40 kilometres (25 mi). The population of the village is 172 ^[1] as of 2010. The name of the village (“Mills river”) refers to old (and out of use) watermills around the village. The main agricultural products of village are fruits like cherries, plums and peaches.
