Dazu District (simplified Chinese: 大足区; traditional Chinese: 大足區; pinyin: Dàzú Qū) is a district of Chongqing Municipality, China. It is where the famous Dazu Rock Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located. In October 2011 Dazu County and Shuangqiao District were merged to form the new Dazu District.[1]
