† Appearances (Goals).Davie McParland is a former association football player and manager. He played for Partick Thistle for his whole senior career, making over 400 league appearances.[1] After retiring as a player, he managed Partick Thistle and Hamilton Academical. As a manager, McParland guided Partick to arguably their greatest triumph, a 4–1 win in the 1971 Scottish League Cup Final against Celtic.[2] McParland would then have spells as Head of youth development at both Dunfermline and Motherwell.
