David Jones (1874–1941) was a Reform Party Member of Parliament in the Canterbury region of New Zealand. From 1931 to 1932 he was Minister of Agriculture and Mines in the Liberal-Reform coalition Government.
He won the Kaiapoi electorate in the 1919 election, but was defeated in 1922 by the previous Liberal holder, David Buddo. He then won Ellesmere in 1925 and Mid-Canterbury in 1928, but was defeated for Mid-Canterbury in 1931 by the Independent Liberal candidate Jeremiah Connolly.
