David Jamilly co-founded Theme Traders Ltd with Kim Einhorn. Theme Traders is a London based party planning and prop hire company launched in 1989. Theme Traders has worked at Buckingham Palace for the Queens 80th birthday party.[1]

Lectures

David Jamilly has lectured at events at conferences and universities around the world. His recent lectures have included Confex 2010 & 2011,[2] The Main Event, Bournemouth University,[3] Leeds Metropolitan University,[4] Sheffield Hallam University, Southampton Solent University, Singapore and Australia.

Humanitarian activities

Jamilly founded Pod Charitable Trust [5] for children in hospital. Pod Charity started in 1988 and held its first party for sick children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.[6] Pod charitable trust now holds 2000 parties a year in children's hospital wards and hospices throughout the United Kingdom.

David Jamilly appeared on the Secret Millionaire[7] in 2010 in Redcar in an extended programme, which topped two million seven hundred thousand viewers by the end of it. The programme saw David handling out £25,000 each to Sid's Place,[8] Zoe’s Place[9] and Redcar Amateur Boxing Association[10] where he became a patron. David also became a patron of Coastwatch Redcar[11] David was one of the co-founders of the Redcar Fire and Steel Festival,[12] a festival which celebrates Teesside’s heritage of 150 years of steel making which takes place every February.

In 2010 David Jamilly co-founded Kindness Day UK[13] in association with the World Kindness Movement. David Jamilly was also the UK representative at the sixth general assembly of the World Kindness Movement in September 2010 in Sydney Australia.Kindness Day UK aims to make each person in the UK carry out one act of kindness on 13 November. In 2011 David Jamilly went on to found Kindness UK which aimed to promote, share and unite kindness every day of the year.

David Jamilly founded The Good Deeds Organisation[14] which promotes global good deeds and kindness.
