MA MSc[1]Bishop of Grimsby Church Church of England Diocese Diocese of Lincoln Enthroned c. 2000 Predecessor David Tustin Orders Ordination 1981 Consecration c. 2000 Personal details Born 22 May 1953 Nationality British Denomination Anglican Residence Bishop's House, Irby upon Humber Spouse Karen[1] Children 2 sons[1] Alma mater King's College London David Douglas James Rossdale (born 22 May 1953) is the current Bishop of Grimsby.[2][1] He was educated at St John's School, Leatherhead, King's College London and Roehampton University.[3] After a period of study at Chichester Theological College he was ordained in 1981[4] and began his career with a curacy at St Laurence Upminster,[5] after which he was Vicar of St Luke’s, Moulsham, Chelmsford and finally (before his elevation as bishop) Vicar of Cookham and Area Dean of Maidenhead.
Rossdale is married with two children. He is a half-brother of the musician Gavin Rossdale.
