History

Founder and CEO Robb Allen realized there was a great opportunity to meet a real consumer need when he was unable to find a hosting provider capable of delivering a quality service experience for his real estate businesses.[8] In 1998, Allen founded Datapipe with just three employees.[8] Originally based in Hoboken, NJ the company started out providing both website design and hosting services. The company soundly weathered the dot.com bust, posting double digit growth every quarter.[1] As the company grew, it focused on providing managed hosting services and began to expand its office space and data center facilities in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Today the company provides services to 1000 clients [9] in industries including Healthcare and Pharmaceutical, Finance, Software as a Service, Advertising, Retail, and Media & Entertainment. [9]
