Đất Đỏ District — District — Country Vietnam Region South East Province Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province Capital Phước Hải Area – Total 73.4 sq mi (190 km2) Population (2003) – Total 62,683 Time zone UTC + 7 (UTC+7) Dat Do (Vietnamese: Đất Đỏ), is a district (huyện) of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province in the southeast region of Vietnam.
As of 2003 the district had a population of 62,683.[1] The district covers an area of 190 km². The district capital lies at Phước Hải.[1]
This district is the home area of the prominent communist Võ Thị Sáu.
Administrative divisions
The district is divided administratively into 2 townships, Đất Đỏ the capital and Phước Hải. Đất Đỏ contains the following wards: Phước, Long Thọ, Long Tân, Láng Dài, Lộc An, Phước Hội, Long Mỹ
