Danny Jacobs Nationality American Occupation Voice actor, comedian, actor Years active 1997-present Daniel "Danny" Jacobs is an American voice actor, comedian, and actor. He is best known as the voice King Julien XIII on the Nickelodeon television series The Penguins of Madagascar and the Christmas TV special Merry Madagascar, substituting for British stand-up comic Sacha Baron Cohen (who continues to voice King Julien on the big screen). He even did an impression of Baron Cohen's character Borat in the 2007 parody film Epic Movie.

Awards and nominations
Jacobs was nominated for the 2010 Annie Award for Voice Acting in a Television Production for voicing King Julien in Merry Madagascar, but lost the award to Tom Kenny.[1] In 2011, Jacobs won a Daytime Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program for voicing Julien in the television show The Penguins of Madagascar.
