Damon Len Lathrope (born 28 October 1989) is an English footballer who plays for Torquay United of League Two.

Playing career

Lathrope began his youth career at Cambridge United, though moved on to Norwich City's academy in 2006, signing his first two and a half year professional contract with the club in January 2008.[2] In November 2009 he joined Conference South club Bishop's Stortford on a two month loan.[2][3] In May 2010 he was released by the Canaries,[4] and signed with Torquay United in July 2010.[2]

He made his debut for the club on 11 August 2010, coming on as a 112th minute substitute for Danny Stevens in their League Cup First Round defeat to Reading at Plainmoor.[5]

Lathrope is the nephew of former Gulls boss Paul Buckle.
