Dabney S. Lancaster Community College (DSLCC) is one of 23 public community colleges in the Virginia Community College System.[1] It is named after Dr. Dabney S. Lancaster, a prominent Virginia educator who held a number of positions in education, having an impact on students at all levels—K-12 through college. He retired in Bath County, one of the areas served by DSLCC.

Offerings

DSLCC offers a wide variety of credit programs, including those for transfer and selected occupational, technical and allied health fields.[2] Non credit classes, summer camps for youth and special topics seminars are offered throughout the year. The division of Continuing Education and Workforce Services customizes education and training for the unique needs of current and prospective employers.

The main campus is located in Clifton Forge, Virginia, off exit 24 of interstate 64. DSLCC also operates the Rockbridge Regional Center on Vista Links Drive in Buena Vista, a short drive off exit 188-A of interstate 81. Main phone number is 540/863-2800 or toll free 877-73DSLCC.[3]
