† Appearances (Goals).Cyrus Sylvester Frederick Christie (born 30 September 1992) is an English football player. He is a defender who currently plays for Football League Championship team Coventry City.
Career
Christie made his professional debut as a substitute on 10 August 2010 in a 2–0 League Cup loss to Morecambe, coming on to replace injured Chris Hussey after 31 minutes.[2]
He joined Conference North side Nuneaton Town on loan in January 2011,[3] but was recalled by Coventry after only one start and three substitute appearances. He then went on a 'work experience' loan to another Conference North club Hinckley United, in February 2011.[4]
After Coventry's first league win of the 2011/12, a 2-0 home win against Derby, Christie made it into the Championship team of the week after putting in a man of the match performance.
