Erosaria acicularis, common name : the Atlantic yellow cowry, is a species of sea snail, a cowry, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Cypraeidae, the cowries.[2]

Distribution
This species is distributed along North Carolina, USA, the Gulf Of Mexico, the Caribbean, Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil.
Description
The maximum recorded shell length is 31 mm.[5]
Habitat
Minimum recorded depth is 0 m.[5] Maximum recorded depth is 780 m.[5]
