Hufnagel, 1766Cucullia argentea is a species of moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in Southern and Central Europe through Siberia, Mongolia and Manchuria up to Korea and Japan.
The wingspan is 28-34 mm. The moth flies from June to August depending on the location.
The larvae feed on Artemisia campestris.
