Crystal Slope

Crystal Slope

Crystal Slope (77°32′S 167°9′E / 77.533°S 167.15°E / -77.533; 167.15) is a western slope (3700 m) between Camp Slope and Robot Gully, leading down from the summit crater rim of Mount Erebus, Ross Island. So named because the slope includes a talus of large anorthoclase feldspar crystals.
