Crete-Monee High School is a secondary education facility located in Crete, Illinois, for teenagers in ninth through twelfth grade. Its current building was completed in 2007 at a cost of $60 million.[3] The old building, built in 1954, currently houses the Crete-Monee Sixth Grade Center on its main floor; the second story and bottom floor are no longer in use. Known colloquially as Crete, the school made headlines in 2002 when two girls were chosen as the year's Cutest Couple.[4]
