Say, 1822Crepidula plana, common name the eastern white slippersnail, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Calyptraeidae, the slipper snails or slipper limpets, cup-and-saucer snails, and Chinese hat snails.[1]

The length of the shell is 15 to 35 mm.[2] The maximum recorded shell length is 43 mm.[3]
