Website http://www.creeklandmiddle.org/ Creekland Middle School is a middle school in the Collins Hill Cluster in Gwinnett County, Georgia. It has an enrollment of 2,853 students, making it the largest middle school in Georgia.[1]
Because the school is so large, it is divided into 3 different "academies" (6th, 7th, and 8th). Doing this helps the students stay acclimated to their surroundings. 6th grade is housed downstairs, while 8th grade and most of 7th grade is housed up stairs.
The two-story school has two gymnasiums, two physical education fields, a two-story library, five main wings, and four trailers.
Creekland middle school also has connection classes. They have morning and afternoon connections. Some connection classes are Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Phyesical Education, Health, French, Spanish, Computer Science, Drama, Math Enrichment, Language Arts Enrichment, and many more. Trust me when I say MANY.
The school has lots of afternoon clubs, such as drama, Builders, FTA, Robotics, and more. One of the school's trademark's is Dr. Bill Kruskamp's end-of-the-day saying "I love you". The year of 2011-2012, there will be a new principal, Dr. Eddie Maresh.
