The Republic of Moldova Constitution of 1994 is the country's supreme law of the country since August 27, 1994.

History
It was adopted on July 29, 1994 by the Moldovan Parliament and published in Monitorul Oficial al R. Moldova, N1, July 18, 1994.
The new Constitution of Moldova came into force on 27th August 1994. On that same date the Constitution of Moldova of 15th April 1978, including all its subsequent revisions and amendments, was abrogated in its entirety.
Commission for constitutional reform in Moldova
The Commission for constitutional reform in Moldova is a commission instituted by acting President Mihai Ghimpu to adopt a new version of the 1994 Constitution.
