since 25 March 2011Style His Excellency Appointer Juan Manuel Santos Calderón Inaugural holder Eduardo Zuleta Ángel Salary EUR€6,490 (monthly)[1] Website Embassy's Website The Colombian Ambassador to Italy is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Colombia to the Italian Republic, accredited as Concurrent Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus, the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Malta, and the Most Serene Republic of San Marino, as well as Permanent Representative to the Food and Agriculture Organization, the World Food Programme, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
The Ambassador is Colombia's foremost diplomatic representative in Italy, and chief of mission in Rome. The officeholder is charged with representing the interest of the President and Government of Colombia and advancing the relations between Colombia and the accredited countries and organizations.
