113 2 "True Calling" Paris Barclay Christopher Silber October 5, 2008 11.10[2] The team reopens the 1991 case of a young inner-city schoolteacher, originally thought to have been killed in a carjacking gone wrong, when her car keys are discovered in an old desk at the high school.
- One of the victim's students sees her looking on as he studies for his GED.
- The teacher that Laura was dating is the one that killed her. She discovered that he was the one selling the drugs and killed her to cover his tracks.
- This episode appears to be based on Bel Kaufman's Up the Down Staircase.

114 3 "Wednesday's Women" John Finn Erica Shelton October 12, 2008 10.99[3] The team receives new evidence in a 1964 case which prompts Kat and Will to travel to Mississippi to investigate the circumstances behind the death of a door-to-door Tupperware saleswoman during Freedom Summer. - The victim's friends see her as they are reunited at the location where she was murdered.
- The brother of the woman Miriam was staying with killed her to impress some of his KKK friends. The mixed race group she was with tried to tell police but the police didn't believe them, so they left her body in her home state of Philadelphia so she would be found.

115 4 "Roller Girl" Holly Dale Elle Triedman October 19, 2008 11.29[4] The team reinvestigates the 1978 case of the death of a teenage roller-skater who was found in a ravine when a convicted thief reveals some information regarding the death in order to get a lighter sentence. - Lilly sees the victim at the roller rink where she used to skate.
- No one is arrested as the death was ruled accidental. Hugh made a pass at Missy...she panicked and fell over the railing.

- Tully's sargent killed him after he wouldn't go along with the plan to discredit a fellow Marine.

117 6 "The Dealer" Chris Fisher Greg Plageman November 2, 2008 11.66[6] The team investigates the 1981 case of a missing single mother after her body is found in the trunk of a car, and soon discover that she may have been growing wise to the shady operations at the car dealership where she had worked. - The victim's daughter sees her mother at the bar where the daughter works.

118 7 "One Small Step" David Von Ancken Taylor Elmore November 9, 2008 12.69[7] After a toy rocket is found in a river, the team reinvestigates the case of a 12-year-old-boy whose body was found in the river on the day after the Apollo 11 landing in 1969. But when one of the victim's childhood friends committs suicide while left alone in interrogation, the team must figure out what happened at the creek and who was responsible for the boy's death. - The retired detective from the original investigation sees the victim at the location of the crime.

This episode depicts a lower class neighborhood, gang activities and the hard life of minorities. - This episode has the distinction of being the only episode that does not feature a cold case; the case is solved 10 hours after the crime was committed.
