Heteroclinus eckloniae, known commonly as the Kelp weedfish in Australia,[2] is a species of clinid in the genus Heteroclinus.[3] It is a temperate blenny found in kelp reefs around southern Australia, in the western Pacific and Indian Oceans.[3] It was named by R.J. McKay in 1970, originally under the specific name Clinus eckloniae,[4] and can reach a maximum length of 11 centimetres.[3]
