Clifford Case (Canadian politician)

Clifford Case (July 17, 1897[1] – December 30, 1940) was a lawyer[2] and political figure in Ontario. He represented York North in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1929 to 1934 as a Conservative member.[3]

The son of George Case and Annie Morning,[1] he was born on a farm in King township and was educated in Aurora and at Osgoode Hall, graduating in 1924.,[2] In 1923,[1] he married Mary Dunbar. Case practised law in Aurora and Toronto and was named King's Counsel in 1929. He served as deputy reeve of Aurora in 1928 and was elected to the Ontario assembly the following year at the age of 31. Case lobbied for the creation of the Ontario Milk Board. He was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1934. Case died in York County Hospital at the age of 43.[2]
