The Cinema of Kuwait is run by 'Cinescape' and the company have cinemas in over 10 malls, with the largest being in 360 Mall and Avenues Mall. Kuwaiti cinema includes many movies from around the world a few weeks after their release in the US. Although, some movies have come out a day before the release date in America.

History of Cinema

The company known as Cinescape are the one and only company in Kuwait to have rights to show movies in cinemas. They have started since 1956 and since then expanded to over 10 malls and has greatly evolved. Although, most movies are sensored by the Ministry of Kuwait, still many movies are shown only without scenes that may disturb the younger kids or even adults.
