Yang Berhomat Chow Kon Yeow is a Malaysian politician and is currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Tanjong constituency in Penang, Malaysia. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) and is a shadow Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition. Chow is also a member of the Executive Council of the state of Penang as Chairman of the Local Government Committee, and represents the seat of Padang Kota in the Penang State Assembly.

Before entering politics, Chow was a journalist.[1]
