Chittagong Colony (Urdu: چٹاگونگ کالونی, Bengali: চট্টগ্রাম কলোনি) is a colony in the Pakistani city of Karachi whose population consists mostly of ethnic Bengalis.[1][2] When one walks through the colony, one can see the colourful Bengali signboards, Bhashani caps, lungis and kurtas.[2] The Chittagong Colony has a baazaar, which was famous throughout Pakistan as the centre for Dhaka cloth.[1] It is also the headquarters of the local Bengali language newspaper Daily Qaumi Bandhan.[2]
