He belongs to Delhi, the city of Khawaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki. Khwaja Mahbub Mirza was divinely ordered (basharat) from Quṭbuddīn Baktiyār Kākī to take him as his disciple. Khawaja Mahbub Mirza come to Delhi from Hyderabad Deccan to fulfill this Basharat. He is one of the great Sufi preacher and saint of the Chishtī Order in Pakistan.Photo

Early life and background
He was born in Delhi (India) on 14 Zulqaad. His father Syed Yousuf Ali Shah was an advocate and a religious person. He was inclined towards religion and spent time in prayer and reciting the Quran from his childhood.
The spiritual chain or silsila of the Chishti order in Pakistan, comprising Maulana Fakhr-ud-din Muhammad Chishti, Noor Muhammad Maharvi Chishti, Shah Muhammad Suleman Taunsvi (Peer Pathan), Hafiz Muhammed Ali Shah Chishti Khairabadi, Meer Ghulam Hussain Ahmed (famous by Mirza Sardar Baig Chishti)[1], Mirza Muhammed Baig Chishti Qalandari Hyderabadi, Mahbub Mirza Chishti Qalandari Hyderabadi, Saajzada Syed Muhammed Mateen Chishti (each successive person being the disciple of the previous one), constitutes the great Sufi saints of Pakistan history.

Sahibzada Syed Muhammed Mateen Chishti was a disciple and Khalifa of Mahbub Mirza Chishti Qalandari Hyderabadi [2] in the Silsila-e-Chishtia.

His three days death anniversary (urs) is celebrated every year on 12th, 13th and 14th of Ramadan (9th Islamic month).Photo His shrine dargāh is located at Muhammed Shah Graveyard, 7-D, Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan, Khawaja Ajmeer Colony, North Karachi.Photo The shrine is visited by people of all faiths, through the year, though it becomes a place for special congregation during the urs. He has many khalifah in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
