Chile national football team 1996

The Chile national football team played a total number of twelve international matches in the 1996 season under the guidance of manager Xabier Azkargorta, who stepped down after six matches. He was replaced by Nelson Acosta. The FIFA lifted the ban and therefore Chile could compete at the 1998 FIFA World Cup qualification.
