Chaoyangia is an extinct ornithuran bird genus from the Early Cretaceous of Liaoning, China. Only one species is described to date, Chaoyangia beishanensis.

It is quite distinct and sometimes placed in an order of its own, Chaoyangiformes, but it may be close enough to Yanornis to warrant inclusion in the Yanornithiformes.
